Now every few years this happens KABLAM! we just released a new console! NEXT GEN!!!! NEXT GEN!!!! Every fucking console gen everyone get all hyped up and all the nerds rush to the stores with theres pockets full of cash. Now 8th gen started pretty subtle, the consoles were released and nobody bought any. Now eventally Christmas and BOOM! EVERYONE FUCKING ORGASMED OVER THE PS4. Now when the new consoles came out I was a PS3 fanatic so really I fucking hated PS4. When the new consoles came PS4 sold soooooo well and Xbox One sold soooooo bad, now all you Xbox fanboys will probably be demanding I review Xbox One, now before I acutally get on topic and review the PS4 I will say one thing, I WILL NOT REVIEW THAT PILE OF SHIT XBOX ONE. Now lets acutally get on topic and review this console. Now first things first is the console itself, now I have to admit the PS4 is acutally pretty good looking, and unlike the PS3 it isn't the bigggest console in the history of the gaming industry. The only problem with the PS4's overall look is the eject and power buttons are very hard to find it took me about 10 minutes to find them when I first got the console, the buttons are pretty easy to find once you get used to there awkard and hidden location. Now many Playstation fans HATE the PS3's controller, but for all you controller fetishists fear not the PS4's controller is acutally very good. The triggers sadly still bend, but the bendy triggers are actually good this time around. The analog sticks have also been improved and are very comfy almost as good as the Xbox 360's. The only problem with the controller is the grips which are pretty hard to hold for a new PS4 owner and the touchpad which is awful, uncomftable, and should have never been created. Now on to the console's home menu. The menu itself is like most things with the PS4, it's clunky and terrible at first but is amzing when you get used to it. The menu is unlike PS3's menu which is tons of shit in a row but is acutally all your things on one menu. If you want to go to friends, party, power, settings, your PSN profile, or the PS store, you just have to press up on the d-pad, which is acutally a very good system. Now the PS store is no longer avaible by pressing up but is with all your games and apps, earlier I said you could get to it by pressing up but they updated the PS stores location. Now earlier I mentioned a party, yes Playstation finally has a party and it is acutally pretty good except some glitches like one forces you to leave the party for NO REASON. Now on to the PS store the PS store is like the PS3 one but is'nt laggy as crap and is very good and loads up almost istantlly instead of taking 5 minutes and sometimes freezing your console like on PS3. Now on to the PSN. PSN on PS4 is very good except it is very glitchy and you have to pay to play online. The ability to play online for free was one of the few great things about PS3 and it sort of sucks that they removed that. Now on to the shareplay. Well I can't say anything about it because my internet is shit, so all in all shareplay sucks. Now on to the share button. HE SHARE BUTTON IS SO FUCKING BROKEN! If you record about 10 clips in a week it shows a FUCKING CLIP FROM 5 WEEKS AGO! If you turn on voice sharing and record a collab video YOU CAN'T HEAR ANYONE. THE SHARE BUTTON SUCKS AND IS SOOOOO BROKEN, SONY IS LITERALLY FIXING TONS OF BUGS, BUT ONES NO ONE HAS ENCOUNTERED! FIX THE GODAMN OBIVOUS GLITCHES THAT RUIN THE FUCKING SHARE BUTTON! Now that that rage is over, on to the games. At the moment PS4 has amazing games, but when PS4 first came out the games were HORRIBLE. If your ever buying PS4 games make sure not to buy ones from when PS4 first came out. Now on to graphics. The PS4 has amazing graphics the best of any console, all games are in 1080p unlike Xbox One, The graphics are straight up great. All in all the PS4 is a great console probably one of the best ever made, it has it's problems but no major ones, and all the major pne are mainly sorted out and are really things that are bad for first impressions like the main menu. 10 out of 10 'Excellent'
